Aluminium Non-Tension Sleeves are a single piece compression joint sleeve for aluminium based conductors. Because they are for non-tension applications the same sleeve can be used on AAC, AAAC and ACSR conductors of the same diameter. Hexagonal compression dies and tooling are required to install the sleeves.
Aluminium Full-Tension Sleeves are either a single piece compression joint sleeve or a two piece design with an aluminium outer sleeve and a steel inner sleeve for ASCR conductors. Hexagonal compression dies and tooling are required to install the sleeves.
Copper Full-Tension Sleeves are a single piece compression joint sleeve manufactured from high conductivity copper. Hexagonal compression dies and tooling are required to install the sleeves.
