HV ABC Bundle Restraints are also known as anti-bird caging deadends. The assembly is comprised of two deadends, which interlock to tie the catenary to the bundle. The bundle assembly must be secured to the catenary so it does not drift into the middle of the span. This eliminates bird caging, or spreading of the cores. HV ABC bundle restraints are available for 11kV and 22kV cables from 35mm2 up to 185mm2 in size.
