Heatshrink Caps are made from materials specially formulated for sealing applications for all commonly used cables and cable sheath materials. The material also contains carbon black to protect it from UV radiation.
Heatshrink caps are available as either lined or unlined. The caps are lined with a special sealant that flows when the cap is installed to provide a high integrity moisture seal. Heat shrink caps are available in a range of sizes to suit various cables and can also be supplied without sealant if required.
