Petroleum mastic, also known as petro mastic, is used for sealing conduit and cable ducts, filling electrical gland and junction boxes, and profiling around pipe joints and other irregular shapes. It’s a non-hardening, non-cracking compound that accommodates vibration, movement and mechanical stress. It is also highly resistant to a wide range of temperatures, mineral acids, alkalis and salts.
Supersoft mastic is used for sealing cable and pipe entry ducts, and for profiling around pipe joints and other irregular shapes to improve contours for subsequent tape wrapping. Designed to withstand elevated temperatures, Supersoft mastic is highly resistant to mineral acids, alkalis and salts and will not crack or harden.
