Waterproof Piercing Connectors are ideal for the waterproof, underground connection of 2, 3 or 4 conductors. Suitable for copper or aluminium insulated cables, single or double insulated from 6 – 50mm2. Ideal for connecting cables in pillar boxes, buried connection pits and streetlight columns. Totally waterproof, these piercing connectors feature torque-controlling shear head bolts for correct contact pressure and flexible cable entry points. With these waterproof IPCs, there is no need to strip cable and they also come fitted with push-on protective bolt caps.
In-line splice waterproof piercing connectors are used for the waterproof splicing or jointing of two cables. This versatile connector accommodates a vast array of insulated cable types, sizes and constructions in any combination, including circular aluminium or copper, stranded or solid, single or double insulated and LVABC.
Multi-port waterproof piercing connectors are general purpose connectors, ideal for use in wet areas or in areas subject to casual submersion (i.e. connection pits, hand-holes and manholes). It will provide a waterproof connection for up to four single core copper cables without the need to strip the cable or apply heatshrink, resins or gels.
